Head of projects and strategies from company Mitsubishi has revealed some new details about the next generation of Pajero, Montero and Shogun. Speaking to reporters at the Geneva Motor Show, Ryoga Nakao confirmed that the redesign of the company’s main models was postponed in 2015.
He said the company has limited resources and priorities important to the current version of the Pajero will have to be on the market for at least another two to three years. Despite the delays, Nakao revealed that the successor to the Pajero is currently under consideration.
The manager refused to give details, but said that the next generation of this model could be more luxurious and keep its off-road capabilities. He also suggested that it could be made PHEV variant that is similar to Pathfinder PHEV model.
